Listing of Uncontested PetitionsMost uncontested petitions will be listed in the Registrars' Bankruptcy List at Queens Square. Where a Notice Stating Grounds of Opposition has been filed, the proceedings will generally be adjourned to the Registrar’s Monday List (the “Applications List”) with directions given and a timetable laid down for the conduct of the petition and proceedings. Listing of Opposed Petitions & ApplicationsOpposed Petitions, applications and matters outside the delegation of a Registrar may be listed or adjourned to the Applications List on a Monday at 10am at the JMT Building for directions or hearing. There is a Bankruptcy Federal Magistrate who is available to accept referrals from the Registrar’s Monday Application List. Substituted Service ApplicationsSubstituted service applications will continue to be listed and dealt with by a Registrar in eCourt at (nominally) 4pm on the day listed in the filed application. Urgent Bankruptcy ApplicationsParties with urgent applications relating to bankruptcy that cannot wait until the next Monday List must approach the Duty Registrar in the Registry at Level 17 Law Courts Building Queens Square, initially by phone on 9230 8567, who will make appropriate arrangements. REGISTRY ARRANGEMENTSDocuments in bankruptcy matters (eg creditor’s petitions, applications and any other documents) will continue to be filed: Parties and practitioners are encouraged to commence any bankruptcy matter electronically through eLodgment.
