    Dispute Resolution

    What is dispute resolution?

Dispute resolution refers to procedures and services designed to assist in the resolution of disputes and avert judicial decision. Federal magistrates order parties to attend dispute resolution to help them resolve their matter rather than continue with litigation where a judicial decision is required.

The Federal Magistrates Court utilises dispute resolution services because they are an affordable and timely option for resolving disputes. They also allow parties greater personal control and management of the process and the outcome.
