The Federal Circuit Court of Australia provides the following privacy statement.

Information collected

The Federal Circuit Court of Australia makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes such as:

• the user's server address;
• the user's top level domain name (e.g. .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc.);
• the date and time of the visit to the site;
• the pages accessed and documents downloaded; and
• the type of browser used.

Access to information collected

No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the Internet service provider's logs.

E-mail management

The Federal Circuit Court of Australia will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message. It will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list. We will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose it without your consent.

Please note that when you contact the Court via e-mail the content of your e-mail as it is transferred across the Internet may not be secure. If you have a concern about the security of your message you are advised to contact the Court directly by telephone, facsimile or post.

E-mail notification service (ENS)

Subscribers to the Email Notification Service (ENS) are required to provide some personal details. This personal information is used only for the purpose of monitoring the use of the ENS and for future planning. The information will not be used for any other purpose. These personal details will not be passed on to other individuals or organisations except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the e-mail notification records.

Cookies

Cookies are not used to collect personal information. The web site statistics for this site are generated from the web logs.
