The Federal Government imposes filing fees, setting down and hearing fees for applications filed in the Federal Magistrates Court. Fees are set out in Schedule 1 of the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia Regulations 2000. The fees are made by the Federal Government and are increased bi-annually.
