When is this form used?

This form is approved for use when a party seeks to have certain facts admitted or documents specified; see Subrule 15.31(1).

General information

If the other party does not, within 14 days, dispute the fact or document by serving a notice then that party is taken to admit the fact or the document; see Subrule 15.31(2).

Unless the Court otherwise orders, if the other party serves a notice disputing a fact or the authenticity of a document and the fact or the authenticity of the document is later proved in the proceeding, the party must pay the costs of the proof; see Subrule 15.31(4).
