When is this form used?

This form is approved for use by a lawyer who is providing notice of their intention to withdraw as lawyer pursuant to Subrules 9.03(2); see Subrule 9.03(3).

General information

A lawyer may not file or serve a notice of withdrawal as lawyer without leave of the Court unless the lawyer has, not less than 7 days before filing the notice, served a notice of intention to withdraw as lawyer on the party for whom the lawyer is acting; See Subrule 9.03(2).
        
A lawyer may serve a party with a notice of intention to withdraw as lawyer by posting it to their last known residential or business address; See Subrule 9.03(4).
